How To Work Better

I came across this on the web--not quite sure how--but it's a great list whether you are in a leadership role or not.  I took the liberty of adding two items to the list.

  1. Do one thing at a time
  2. Know the problem
  3. Learn to ask questions
  4. Learn to listen
  5. Distinguish sense from nonsense
  6. Accept change as inevitable
  7. Admit mistakes
  8. Say it simply
  9. Keep it simple (Roy's addition)
  10. Be calm
  11. Smile
  12. Say "thanks" (Roy's addition)
