I Feel The Need, The Need For Speed
I like to go fast. I usually eat too fast, drive too fast, like to work fast. I'd rather be fast than slow. Here are pics of motorcycles I've owned recently, and they are the kind that go fast. Built for speed, as they say.

I had an economics professor that use to ask the class "is fast food good? Is fast sex good?" He would say no, and we usually answered yes, which would piss him off.
Even though I prefer fast, I know that too much of anything is not healthy. Let's take the motorcycle example. The bikes shown, especially the red and black ones, are capable of getting to incredibly high speeds in a flash. It's a rush, but it's not practical in town. And I don't care how fast the bike will go in a straight line, when the curves come, everybody has to slow down or go off course and probably crash. It's physics. You can't carry top speed all the time.
Just like on a motorcycle, going fast at all times in your life is not practical. Like the curves in the road, there are times when you need to slow down in order to be the most effective and to keep from going off course and crashing. I know this may be hard to take in this text messaging/Twitter world, but it's twue!
Here's a video that journalist Carl Honore has done to relate his thoughts on going slow. Gotta go!
