"Johnny Bunko" Breakfast in Austin

Have you heard of Johnny Bunko?  He's the creation of Dan Pink, author of "Free Agent Nation, A Whole New Mind and The Adventures of Johnny Bunko".  "The Adventures of Johnny Bunko" is America's first business book done in Manga (Japanese comic book style) and 'the last career guide you'll ever need".  Watch the video trailer to get a flavor of the book.

If you went to college, got your degree and then went on to a job and thought "this isn't what I really want to do with my life", read this book.  I'll make it easy for you, too!  We're having a "Bunko Breakfast" in Austin.  This is a quick read and it's fun.  I'll supply the book, which you have to return at the meeting.

These gatherings are extremely informal and typically last about an hour. Here's what we'll do:

1. We get something to drink, then we sit down.

2. I talk a little (maybe 5 or 10 minutes) about the book.

3. Then I open things up for discussion. I'll come prepared with a few questions of my own, but otherwise the conversations should be very free-form, discussing the points made in the book.  

4. We usually get about 6 to 10 attendees.  I have heard that the real advantage of the Breakfasts has been the chance to meet the others who show up.

5. The first 5 to reply receive a set of Johnny Bunko chopsticks.
