Here's what the Linked In Amazing Leadership Family said...

Many people think that they cannot get a job they want because they are not good enough or smart enough to achieve it. And still others believe that there is no direct link to what you know that can compensate for who you know. I think that there is a little truth to both, but I think mostly I know that you cannot be a true success without knowing why you do whatever it is that you do in life.

In this economy, over more robust ones, it has become increasingly more important to have a good handle on your job hunting skills. There are two main skills that you will need to ensure that you are honing - writing your resume and your interviewing skills.

WRITING YOUR RESUME

The discussion group called Linked 2 Leadership on Linked In is a great thought provoking outlet! I recently saw a posting that I had to answer. It asked: "Four Leadership Styles, Which Do You Prefer?"

I have taken these lessons learned directly from an article in the magazine called ARMY: The magazine of the Association of the United States Army - December 2009 edition and their summary entitled "Seven Tips to Success" (page 66) with comments about how we can all learn from these effective leaders' experiences for each success tip.

Application is the true test of a leaders ability to "practice what he or she preaches" so to speak. Today we have the plasure of celebrating a wonderful feat! I know it will undoubtably inspire us all as we move forward in our own lives! Never be afraid to attempt and accomplish similar objectives as  Stavros Michailidis has this month!
