Isn't there always a better way?

When I hear my boss tell me that I am not trying after spending hours TRYING to do something right.... it makes me crazy! I know that I am better at my job than most people because I actually care about the results I get. And to hear anyone crticize my efforts without really seeing what I do and how passionate about creating a positive and productive work environment that makes results is so FRUSTRATING. Doesn't anyone agree with me?
